After celebrating a record-breaking 2024 by winning titles in all three MotoGP and World Superbike classes, and debuting in the America's Cup sailing event, WRS is ready to step into the upcoming season with an important new partnership. Starting in 2025, the world's leading manufacturer of motorcycle windscreens will in fact be a technical partner of the Ducati Lenovo team.
Thanks to in-depth knowledge of the sector and cutting-edge technology, WRS will supply the official team of the Bologna-based manufacturer with windscreens designed and manufactured for the Desmosedici GP bikes of Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez, responding to the specific needs of the riders and their bikes to ensure optimal performance in terms of aerodynamics, visibility and resistance.
The Romagna-based company will put a combination of technological innovation and attention to detail at the service of the team, to ensure that the Ducati Lenovo team riders achieve maximum performance in every race of the 2025 championship, through the supply of fairings made with innovative materials and advanced technology.
This collaboration with Ducati Corse not only reflects WRS's commitment to always be at the forefront of the two-wheel world, but it marks another step forward for the Italian company, which has a long history of collaborations with the most prestigious international motorcycling and nautical teams, standing out for the excellence of its Made in Italy products.
"WRS is an important reality linked to the territory, and we share values such as high technological content, commitment to research and innovation. We are very happy to begin this new collaboration with a clear common goal: always being competitive and continuously improving," commented Ducati Corse's Sporting Director, Mauro Grassilli.
A goal shared with WRS, as emphasized by the company's CEO, Nicolas Zavoli.
"We are thrilled and honored to be part of this extraordinary adventure with Ducati Corse. Working alongside riders as Bagnaia and Marquez is a great responsibility for us, but also an extra motivation to continue to push to the limits our technology," he said. "Every windscreen we make is the result of years of experience and dedication, and we are sure that our contribution will be fundamental for the challenges that the team will face during the season.
