MotoGP, Red Bull Ring: tunnel of heroes

There are places in the GP circuits that few people know about but that have an undeniable charm. One of these places is the tunnel that leads from the paddock to the main entrance and teh elevators of the press room at the Red Bull Ring in Austria.

We call it the "tunnel of heroes" because there are backlit blow-ups of great 500/MotoGP stars, from Valentino Rossi to John Surtees. Didi Mateschitz, Mr. Red Bull, has been a great motorsports fan and one of its biggest sponsors. That's why he bought and modernized the Austrian track. The lobby represents just a very small part of his magnificent collection, which is housed in Hangar 7 at the Salzburg Airport.
