Moto2: David Alonso, dislocated right shoulder while training

2025 hasn't started in the best way for Moto3 World Champion David Alonso. The Colombian rider posted a photo on his Instagram profile with his right arm slung around his neck: "Yesterday I had a small fall in Cartagena, and I dislocated my shoulder. Now it's time to recover as quickly as possible," he wrote.

Alonso was training on a motorcycle at the circuit in southern Spain and something went wrong. He now has a couple of weeks to get back into shape, considering that the first official tests for the Moto2 (the category in which David will be making his debut this season) are scheduled for February 12th and 13th at the Portuguese circuit of Portimão.
