MotoGP: Marc Marquez getting the hang of it, back in action at Aspar

As he waits for the first MotoGP winter tests, scheduled from Februray 5th to -7th at the Sepang circuit, Marc Márquez got back on the bike and he did so just days after the official presentation of the Ducati Lenovo team last Monday in the iconic setting of Madonna di Campiglio.

As reported by Motorsport.com, the test site was the circuit owned by Aspar Martinez in Guadassuar, not far from Valencia, chosen by several World Championship riders, such as Fabio Quartararo and Joan Mir, in order to get some riding in during the winter break. However, the champion from Cervera had already been to the Iberian track during the second week of January to test the Panigale V2, invited by Borgo Panigale's Davide Tardozzi, with part of the team present.

He later returned there in the company of some of his colleagues, starting with premier class World Champion Jorge Martin riding an Aprilia RSV4 and Moto3 winner David Alonso, who got the chance to put himself to the test on the track with two big guns.

But, this week, his "side kick" was his brother, Alex (his garage mate in 2024) and the rider who replaced him in the Gresini team, namely, Fermín Aldeguer.

Additionally, the Aspar circuit was also elected as a reference by some rookies, such as Daniel Holgado, making his debut in the Moto2, and Máximo Quiles, who'll be starting to take his first steps in the Moto3.
