The Jerez de la Frontera circuit is preparing to sell out regarding the weekend of April 25-27, the first Spanish round of the 2025 MotoGP season.
The managers of the racetrack, home of the GP since 1989, disclosed that they've already sold 50% more tickets than they did during the same period in 2024, when sales had already increased by 4%.
In numerical terms, that means approximately 13,920 more tickets sold while, of the 39,307 available, just 6,200 remain. No one actually knows that made the public flock en masse but, according to the managers of the track, much of the credit is Dorna's, which is able to find solutions to make the fans more participatory.
Initiatives, such as the Hero Walk, Sprint Races, and live music during the race weekends were, therefore, crucial. But, as sources of curiosity and interest, it would be wrong not to mention both the move of reigning MotoGP World Champion Jorge Martin from Ducati Pramac to Aprilia, as well as the coexistence of Pecco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez in the Ducati Lenovo garage. These two bulls in one pen - who last year had been battling it out right at the Angel Nieto - will prove to be boiling hot news.
