Luca dictates the pace in the first day's combined ahead of Morbidelli, Bartolini and Bezzecchi, 14th Bulega returning after 5 years

MotoGP: Marini leads in 100 Km free practice, 6th Rossi, 11th Bagnaia

At the Ranch in Tavullia, the spotlight is on the 100 Km, or the traditional flat-track challenge organized by Valentino Rossi. Many riders are competing, from MotoGP to SBK via Moto2, Moto3, CIV and SSP, not forgetting the specialists.

In Thursday's free practice, the fastest of all turned out to be Luca Marini. The Honda rider ended the day by setting the combined benchmark time in 2'00"487. One second behind him was Franco Morbidelli, pressed by Elia Bartolini and Marco Bezzecchi.

A bit behind instead was the master of the house, namely Valentino Rossi, who set the sixth quickest time in 2'02"366 behind Patacca. In the top ten were also Moreira and Baldassarri while Pecco Bagnaia ended up outside the top ten.

In fact, the world championship runner-up ended up 2.4 seconds from the top, followed by Rabat and Migno. 14th quicjest instead was Nicolò Bulega, who has returned to race at the Ranch 5 years since the last time.

Scrolling down the ranking, 20th was Pasini, then Fuligni and Aegerter, 32nd Locatelli, 34th Enea Bastianini followed by Oliveira, Lunetta, Vickers and Caricasulo.
