The year 2025 will be a crucial one for Scott Redding, who is being called upon to revive his career with the Ducati Panigale V4R fielded by the MGM team, after the end of a difficult three-year period on the BMW M 1000 RR. An unfruitful chapter in his career, at least from the point of view of results, and one that the 31-year-old Englishman aims to leave behind as soon as possible.
Forced to sit by idly in the pits last October at Jerez, having not received the green light from BMW to get on his Rossa, Redding did not want to waste any more time this early in the year and hit the track in Seville, just over a day away from the end of his contract with the Bavarian manufacturer, to grind out his first kilometers riding the Ducati V4S.
It was a moment eagerly awaited by Scott, eager to regain confidence with a Panigale which he had not ridden for four years now. That is, since the moment he ended his adventure in the Aruba.it Racing - Ducati team, for which he was a rider between 2020 and 2021. The best two years in World SBK of the 2019 British Superbike champion, who hopes to get back into the battle at the top with his new, old friend.
