Brembo, the world's leading manufacturer of braking systems, celebrates a 2024 full of successes: with 69 world titles won, the company remains the undisputed leader in the braking systems industry. A year full of triumphs, with some truly memorable moments. In particular, in Formula 1, Max Verstappen (Oracle Red Bull Racing) won his fourth consecutive world championship using Brembo calipers and discs. As for other championships, Jorge Martin's (Prima Pramac Racing) success in MotoGP with the entire Brembo braking system and Marchesini wheels and the WorldSBK championship in which Toprak Razgatlıoğlu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) achieved the victory deserve a mention. Not forgetting the victories of Ai Ogura (MT Helmets MSI) in Moto2 and that of David Alonso (CFMOTO Gaviota Aspar Team) in Moto3.
Thierry Neuville's (Hyundai Motorsport) first WRC world championship highlights the reliability and performance of Brembo's braking systems in rally competition, where asphalt and dirt alternate. The Italian company's strength is also evident in Gen-7 Car, where all drivers and teams use components from the Group, such as AP Racing, demonstrating their reliability at high speeds on oval tracks.
As a Solution Provider, Brembo draws on its many years of experience in motorsports competition to develop innovative and sustainable technological solutions. Through a constant process of research and development, Brembo is able to offer leading car and motorcycle manufacturers state-of-the-art products, ensuring maximum performance and safety. The numerous victories achieved not only by Brembo, but also by Group companies such as Marchesini, AP Racing, SBS Friction and J.Juan, confirm the Group's technological leadership in the industry.
Brembo once again dominated Formula 1: all 24 races in 2024 ended up in the hands of cars equipped with its brakes. Since 1975, the Bergamo-based company has racked up 531 victories out of 851 Grands Prix contested, winning as many as 30 drivers' titles and 34 constructors' titles along with the Circus' strongest teams.
The undisputed dominance in MotoGP continues, with successes extending to Moto2, Moto3 and World Superbike (also with Marchesini). Since 1978, an impressive 592 victories in the premier class (500 and MotoGP) testify to Brembo's excellence. For the ninth consecutive year, all MotoGP riders chose the performance and safety of components produced by the Italian company. With 36 rider titles and 37 manufacturer titles won with top teams, Brembo is synonymous with innovation and victory in the world of two wheels.
2024 also consolidates Brembo's dominance in electric motorsport. For the sixth consecutive season, all 22 full electric Gen3 single-seaters in the FIA Formula E and 18 electric Ducatis in the FIM MotoE World Cup relied on the excellence of Brembo braking systems. In addition to the aforementioned Formula 1, Formula E, MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3 and WSBK championships, it is also worth mentioning the WEC, GT, IMSA, EWC, Gen-7 Car, MXGP, Enduro, Trial, Formula 2, Formula 3, WRC, Super Formula, MotoAmerica, Porsche Mobil1 Supercup and many others, for a total of more than 700 world titles won since 1975 to date in the different categories.
