Moto3, Red Bull Rookies Cup is safe: 19 nationalities and 13 debs and one woman

Despite the financial difficulties experienced by KTM at the moment, confirmation of the starting grid for the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup 2025 has arrived. As many as 19 nationalities will be represented, while 13 riders will be rookies, including Yaroslav Karpushin from Kyrgyzstan, Luca Agostinelli from Vietnam, Kerman Tinez from Venezuela and Gabriel Tesini from San Marino. Among those in attendance will be a woman, the fourth to take part in the series, Alejandra Garcia. Only one Italian on the lineup: Giulio Pugliese.

With 19 seasons behind it now, the category has been able to churn out talents of the caliber of David Alonso winner of Moto3 in 2024, Ai Ogura, first in Moto2 and Jorge Martin, newly crowned MotoGP champion. And speaking of the smaller MotoGP class, at the start next March we will find reigning Rookies Cup champion Álvaro Carpe, joined by former colleagues Valentin Perrone, Màximo Quiles, Ruche Moodley and Guido Pini.

The provisional schedule was also released for the occasion. Three days of testing will be held at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit in late March, while the first of seven races will be held at the same track on the weekend of April 26 and 27, with the grand finale taking place on September 13 and 14 in Misano.
