The Women's World Cup laid the groundwork for the season to come. After 2024, during which Ana Carrasco won the title with Evan Bros, there's lots expected for 2025. First of all, the Spanish rider and the team from Romagna won't be present at the start of the series: in fact, Ana has chosen the SSP with Honda while the team directed by Fabio Evangelista will double up in the middle class with two bikes.
Maria Herrera with Forward, as well as Sara Sanchez with the new GRT team, debuting in the series, will be aiming hard for the title. And what about Beatriz Neila? As for the Italians, besides Ponziani with Forward, we'll also see Beatrice Barbera at work with Team GP3 TM36.
In all, 24 riders will be starting off the World Championship, which will start in Assen on the weekend of April 11th to 13th. They'll then be racing in Cremona, while the grand finale in Jerez is scheduled for October 17to to 19th, for a total of six rounds.
