SBK: Ducati is almost there: the new Panigale V4 will debut at Jerez

At Borgo Panigale, people are working with all eyes on 2025 and at the same time on 2026. One of the reasons for this interest is certainly the latest evolution Ducati V4, which in two years' time we will see it participate in World SBK.

At WDW in July, the riders had a chance to try out the road-going version, namely the V4-S, which sports several new features including a twin-sided swingarm. There is no shortage of ambition toward the new bike so much so that track development will also begin shortly with the goal of arriving ready for 2026.

For this very reason, the Panigale V4 Superbike version is expected to debut in March on the track, just before the Portimao SBK round, scheduled for the last weekend of the month. In all likelihood, according to what we have learned, the track chosen will be Jerez, then further testing will be done at Misano.

Leading the development will be Michele Pirro, who is busy on both the MotoGP and Superbike fronts with the test team. After that, the ball will be passed to the riders, who before testing the new bike, however, must have already renewed their contracts for the 2026 season.

The anticipation is great and the countdown has already begun to see the new Rossa in action.
