SBK: Entry List 2025: In Supersport, the hunt is on for Adrian Huertas' heir.

Everything is ready for the 2025 World Supersport Championship: Dorna and the FIM have unveiled the names of the riders at the start of the next season of the championship, which will take place as usual as part of the Superbike championship (HERE the 2025 lineup ) and will start at the end of February in Australia.

Between confirmations and new arrivals, there will be 32 riders from 15 countries vying for the throne of the category, which has been left orphaned by defending champion Adrian Huertas, who has gone to Moto2 with the Italtrans team. Among them, there will be no shortage of WorldSSP Challenge participants, involved only in the European rounds, and led by Women's World Champion Ana Carrasco, ready to take on a new challenge with the Honda Racing World Supersport team.

As for the Italian contingent, there will be seven riders in the starting line-up. So all eyes will be on world champion runner-up Stefano Manzi, Michael Ruben Rinaldi and Niccolò Antonelli, all in action on the new Yamaha R9. But also on Federico Caricasulo, confirmed among the ranks of the Motozoo team, Raffaele De Rosa, in his second year with QJ Motor, and rookie Filippo Farioli and the returning Leonardo Taccini, entered respectively by the MV Agusta Reparto Corse team and Althea Racing.

Up-and-coming talents such as Loris Veneman and new faces like those of reigning SSP300 champion Aldi Mahendra or Jaume Masia and Xavi Cardelus, both starting on Orelac Racing team Ducatis, will also be to watch out for. Precisely the Panigale V2 will be the most numerous bike, with a total of 11 on the grid and representatives ready to make their mark, such as Philipp Oettl, Marcel Schroetter and Valentin Debise. The Yamaha squadron is also fierce, with no less than seven starters. Then there will be five MV Agustas, four Hondas, two Triumphs, two QJs and a single Kawasaki, entrusted to Jeremy Alcoba.

There will also be 32 riders, from 10 different nationalities, ready to vie for the crown in the final year of Supersport 300 as the entry class to World Superbike.

Seven Italians will be in action: next to the pair lined up by the BRCorse team, formed by Elia Bartolini and Marco Gaggi, there will in fact be the two GP Project riders, Emiliano Ercolani and Giacomo Zannini; Mirko Gennai confirmed on the Ninja 4000 of MTM Kawasaki; Matteo Vannucci, riding the Yamaha R3 of the AG Motorsport Italia team; and Kevin Sabatucci with the Kawasaki of the Smrz Racing BGR team.

Spotlight will also be on two-time World Champion Jeffrey Buis, and the two Kove riders, Marc and Julio Garcia. As for the bikes, there will still be four brands at the start of the championship: Kawasaki with 13 Ninja 400s; Yamaha with 13 YZF-R3s; Kove with 4 321 RR-Ss; and KTM with 2 RC 390 Rs.
