Florian Marino has led the development of the Kawasaki, and then the Bimota in recent years. In fact, Provec and the Itaian manufacturer have staked heavily on his qualities to chart the way forward with the latest evolution of the BK998.
Apparently, however, Marino's adventure with Bimota could end as early as the end of 2024. The reason is very simple: according to rumors, Yamaha would like the rider to focus exclusively on Endurance in 2025, avoiding other commitments with other team.
This year, Marino took part in the World Endurance Championship with the Yamaha R1 of the KM99 team along with Randy De Puniet and Jeremy Guarnoni. Furthermore, he has been developing the Bimota, working alongside Alex Lowes as a coach, among others. Now, however, it'll be up to him to decide what to do, in view of 2025, knowing that Yamaha's priority is for him to continue in Endurance without any other commitments.
