MotoGP, Pedro Acosta: "The KTM situation doesn't affect us at all."

The Spanish rider has every confidence in the Austrian company: "they will come out of it." His goal in 2025 is to shave off the edges: "sometimes I was in too much of a hurry"

MotoGP: Pedro Acosta:

It is difficult for those who wear orange to have a peaceful winter knowing what is happening to KTM. Regarding the Austrian company's financial situation we have spoken several times, the summary being that there are debts close to 3 billion euros and that a restructuring process is underway. In all this, the racing department seems to be (for the moment) safe and the MotoGP program for 2025 confirmed.

This seems to be enough for Pedro Acosta, who has always been linked to KTM to which he has already given two world titles (one in Moto3 and the other in Moto2). The rider from Murcia, after a season in GasGas red in the Tech3 team, will be in the factory team next year along with Binder.

"The current situation of KTM doesn't affect us at all and I'm sure they will come out of it," he summed up his thoughts with his usual candor at an event organized by his sponsor Pont Grup, as reported by Marca. Acosta does not seem to be bothered too much by financial disputes and prefers to only think about the track.

"I am happy to have moved to the official team, which is what I was looking for from the beginning," he said, "The goal will be to finish fine-tuning some areas of the bike and to look for consistency in the races to fight for better results."

Acosta made no secret of the fact that he wanted to speed things up at times in his debut season in MotoGP. "Many times I wanted to do everything so fast that I made mistakes, like crashing in the race or not qualifying for Q2," was Pedro's mea culpa.
