The KTM Test Team is busy in Jerez for two days of testing with Pol Espargarò and Dani Pedrosa. During the tests, a special guest arrived in the paddock: Maverick Vinales. The Spaniard was able to ride for the first time in Barcelona, in tests after the GP, the RC16 with which he will ride next year in the Tech3 team and wanted to touch the work of the test riders.
"The grind never stops. Flying visit to Jerez yesterday to see what our test team is up to. I was getting itchy to have a go, but it'll feel so amazing when I get on my new bike in a few months' time. However, I'm excited in the direction we're heading, though so good job Pol Espargaro, Dani Pedrosa and the entire team," he wrote on Instagram, accompanied by a video with the two testers in action.
Vinales will have to wait until February to get back on the KTM during testing at Sepang. Maverick is the only rider to have managed to win a GP in the premier class with 3 different bikes (Suzuki, Yamaha and Aprilia), who knows if he will be able to make it four with the orange bike.
