MotoGP: Alpine lands in MotoGP, sponsorIng Pramac Racing team in 2025

The Pramac Racing team has always had close ties with the Formula 1, supported by the friendship between the team's owner, Paolo Campinoti, and Formula 1 CEO and president, Stefano Domenicali. This alliance has led the Pramac team to sport the logo of the top open-wheel racing series on the fairings of its motorcycles and it's destined to be further consolidated in 2025.

According to our colleagues at Motorsport.com, in a year of big changes for the Tuscan team - which will be leaving Ducati after a partnership that has lasted more than 20 years, in order to become the second factory Yamaha team in the MotoGP - Campinoti will be able to count on the arrival of a major new sponsor like Alpine: Renault's sports division, already involved in the Formula 1 and the WEC.

This also means a big change in the image of the team. Starting next year, on the fairing of the M1's, it'll be sporting the graphics of the insurance broker, Prima - its head sponsor until 2027 -and also the logo of the French automaker.

Crucial to this new long-term partnership was the relationship between Campinoti and Renault CEO Luca De Meo, who had already considered the MotoGP as an attractive advertising showcase in the past. It was the Milanese executive, in fact, who had brought the Fiat brand to the Yamahas of Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo when he was head of the Italian company.

To find out what the livery on the M1s of Miguel Oliveira and Jack Miller will be next season, you'll have to wait for the winter tests, which will take place in Sepang from Feb. 5th-7th.  The Alpine and Pramac livery has all the makings of being a collaboration that aims to leave its mark, and not only thanks to its graphics.
