Domenicali: "I had asked Dall'Igna to win all the MotoGP races."

"I think something crazy has been done. Ours is a system developed over time, inspired by Galileo Galilei, that is, the inventor of the scientific method, according to which every theory must be proven by experimentation."

MotoGP: Domenicali:

A record-breaking season that deserves to be celebrated at its best. In Bologna, Ducati is celebrating a memorable 2024, peppered with victories between MotoGP, Superbike and Italian motocross with Lupino. In MotoGP, the Rossa triumphed in every event except Austin, completely coloring the podium red on 14 occasions.

In Superbike, however, the constructors' title was celebrated while in SSP that of Huertas. On the part of CEO Claudio Domenicali , therefore, there is a lot of satisfaction: "This event is the celebration of a sporting achievement and at the same time of an area that the whole world envies us," he began, "Ours is a system developed over time, inspired by Galileo Galilei, that is, the inventor of the scientific method, according to which every theory must be proven by experimentation."

In talking about the triumph on the track, Domenicali then celebrated the commitment on the part of the entire team: "We are a company that takes care of people 360 degrees, and it is to our people that I want to express my gratitude. The rider at the end is our leader in a very difficult technological field, but then there are the people at home who work tirelessly."

Domenicali's attention then turned back to what has been done in MotoGP: "This is the best racing season ever considering also the success in motocross with Lupino," he stressed, " I think something crazy has been done in MotoGP." Domenicali then told of a backstory: "I gave Gigi the goal to win all the races," he revealed, recalling that only one was missing," He didn't succeed, and so we came up with this idea of celebrating a record-breaking season inspired by Porsche's 1983 triumph at Le Mans with nine Porsches in the top 10."

His final comment was about the product: "Ducati has never had such a thriving product range. In the product world we are doing what we do in racing. One example is the new Panigale V4, a high-performance bike with performance close to racing. I think we have succeeded in marking a new course."
