The question that everyone has been asking when faced with the current situation of KTM is whether it will have an influence on racing and, in particular on the two teams that the Austrian manufacturer will field in 2025 in MotoGP.
Two very strong teams with four outright top riders who answer to the names of Brad Binder, Pedro Acosta, Enea Bastianini and Maverick Vinales.
Reassuring the four in these undoubtedly difficult days was personally Pit Beirer with a message whose gist is: KTM true to its motto 'Ready to Race' never gives up. Prove, prove that we are capable of turning challenges into our strength.
KTM therefore is not giving up, and the court-ordered restructuring plan with self-administration that the group companies, KTM AG, KTM Components GmbH and KTM F&E GmbH, are undergoing does not concern the business strictly related to racing.
In fact, KTM Racing GmbH, the racing arm of the Mattighofen-based company, is not affected by the measures being taken for the other companies.
This means that the racing department and teams will remain fully operational, including development.
Beirer wanted to reassure Brad, Pedro, Enea and Maverick that the commitment to motorsport will remain unchanged and that with heart and passion KTM will not shy away from the MotoGP challenge in 2025.
