MotoGP: Martin:

Jorge Martin managed to fulfill his lifelong dream of putting the world champion crown on his head. He did it in the last race, getting the better of Bagnaia, who gave him a hard time all season.

Being champion, however, isn't enough for the Pramac team's rider: "Winning is great, that's clear, but you have to go beyond that. Being successful without doing something more, in my opinion, is something empty," he explained in an interview with the Spanish edition of Men's Health magazine.

Martin then further explained: "I think you have to look for a deeper meaning, that of winning for your people, leaving a mark for the future. I look for that meaning in things."

Jorge admitted several times that he was obsessed with winning. The help of a sports psychologist taught him to look at things from a different perspective. As the facts show, it worked.

"More than winning a world championship, I want to leave a mark in the world of motorcycling, to be someone, to accomplish something that will be remembered," he commented.
