SBK: Last dance at Jerez for Superbike with BMW, Bimota, Yamaha and Honda MotoGP

The Superbike engines haven't shut down yet because on Tuesday, Nov. 26 and Wednesday, Nov. 27, the Jerez track will open its doors for the last test of this year. In action we will see Locatelli and Rea with the Yamaha R1, busy testing some new features ahead of January.

Then there will be Bimota with Alex Lowes and Axel Bassani. For the rider from Feltre it will be the last day on track before the hip surgery that awaits him in Barcelona. Axel will in fact undergo surgery on November 28, after which he will return to Italy on the 30th to begin the recovery process. For him it promises to be a month of December without bikes and training with the goal of regaining full form for January.

Among those attending the test there will also be Puccetti with Gerloff while BMW will see the test team formed by Reiterberger and Guintoli in action. Only one Ducati instead at work, namely that of the Marc VDS team with Sam Lowes.

Finally, there is a lot of anticipation for the Honda HRC squadron. After testing on Tuesday in Barcelona, Luca Marini and Joan Mir, along with Johann Zarco will take to the track at Jerez with the support of their new tester, namely Aleix Espargarò.

Awaiting the Honda riders is a lot of work especially after the difficulties encountered in the last outing at Montmeló.
