MotoGP, Martin: "The Aprilia? Very nice. Front better than Ducati."

The Spanish rider flashed a big smile after his first few laps with the RS-GP: "I felt good and was confident. In entering, the Ducati is more immediate."

MotoGP: Martin:

Jorge Martin's Aprilia adventure began in Barcelona. Around 11 a.m., the world champion came out of the garage and did his first laps on the RS-GP24. The program provides that he'll be testing the bike version 2025 in the afternoon.

During the first six laps completed, the best time he had was 1'41"964. Once back in the garage, Jorge flashed a big smile, adding, "Beautiful, very beautiful."

Afterwards, he chatted with his crew chief, Daniele Romagnoli: "Very nice Aprilia. The  front better than the Ducati," he said "I was immediately at ease in corners and had a  good feeling. The maps all need to be done, but good."

Martin then added: "The bike rises up in the front a little too much. In fact, we have to try to keep it a little lower. I'm missing something in entry because, with the Ducati, it was more immediate, while I lose more time now. At turn twelve, in second gear, I felt too much power, and it tends to wheelie, so we have to drop."

These are the first words spoken by Jorge regarding the RS-GP.
