MotoGP, First 2025 tests confirmed for Tuesday at Barcelona

Dorna has confirmed that the first official tests of 2025, scheduled for the Tuesday following the last race weekend will take place at Barcelona on November 19.

At the end of the GP, exceptionally named the Solidarity GP, as all proceeds will go to a fund created ad hoc for necessary interventions in the areas affected by the flooding, MotoGP will therefore immediately return to the track in 2025 configuration: the session will start at 10 a.m. local time, ending at 5 p.m., with an extra 15 minutes after the checkered flag to be devoted to practice starts.

This means that we will see for the first time Marc Marquez riding the official Ducati, Jorge Martin and Marco Bezzecchi on the Aprilia and Enea Bastianini and Maverick Vinales on the KTM. In the same context, Prima Pramac will be active no longer with the Desmosedici, but with the Yamaha entrusted to Jack Miller. Miguel Oliveira will also be there, while the presence of Fermin Aldeguer, out of action since Thailand, is still uncertain; on paper, he should have made his debut on the Ducati of the Gresini team. On the other hand, there should be no problems for Ai Ogura and Somkiat Chantra coming from Moto2 and ready to test the Trackhouse Aprilia and LCR Honda.
