Pecco Bagnaia reacts, Jorge Martin suffers in style. Marc Marquez and Enea Bastianini battle it out with mistakes. It's raining in Thailand, but some people still see the sun. Like Ai Ogura.
THE GOOD - Kudos for Bagnaia, who is never knocked out and every time he is on his knees he gets up and hits back harder than before. Kudos for Martin, who dodges all the attacks without losing his mind and too many points. And kudos also for this championship finale in which we do not know who will win, because finding out who is the best between Pecco and Jorge is really complicated.
THE BAD - The Stewards manage to turn every race into a comedy or a tragedy. Anyone who hoped for a bit of creativity in power could never have expected such results. You don't even need to get angry anymore, you just need to enjoy this show within a show. A bonus for which you don't even have to pay a ticket.
THE UGLY - No kudos on the other hand for Marquez, who doesn't win when he is the fastest but crashes. No kudos either for Bastianini, who always finds a way to complicate his life. What was nice however was the battle between the two of them, for a bronze medal in the championship, all the while waiting for better goals.
DISAPPOINTMENT - Double this time. Morbidelli went into collision course with Quartararo and ruined the race for both of them. Too bad for Franco who was once again fast and inconclusive, but especially for Fabio, who continues to work miracles with the Yamaha.
CONFIRMATION - We might be repetitive, as is David Alonso, first for the 12th time in 18 GPs. He broke a record of Valentino that stood for almost 30 years, the impression is that more will follow.
MISTAKE - All the riders are capable of crashing in the race, doing it earlier is a feat for a few. Alex Marquez could have done without seeing his name in this elite, but his tumble on the formation lap was worth the entry fee alone. "When I came back to the pit I said there was no need to insult me I was already doing it myself." We won't rub it in.
SURPRISE - Seeing a Japanese rider win aWorld Championship on a bike from the Veneto is rejuvenating. Operating the time machine were Ai Ogura and Luca Boscoscuro. Way to go guys, way to go.
OVERTAKE - What do you expect will happen when you put together Acosta and Miller as they are vying for the podium? A pitched battle worthy of the best Bud Spencer and Terence Hill. Both took and gave; we just had fun.
CURIOSITY - The Thai GP was the last one of the season for Fabio Di Giannantonio. Nothing curious about that, but we just wanted in any case to find him a space to congratulate him for his race and wish him all the best for the operation on his shoulder.
I TOLD YOU SO - Marc Marquez commented on Saturday, "When could I win the next race? Maybe it will rain tomorrow!" It rained, but it didn't help.
