MotoGP, Alex Marquez: "Bagnaias angry about Aragon? That's normal in his position"

"Accidents are remembered more than mistakes. In the end, he's at risk of losing the title. Is Marc is the only winning with the GP23? He was helped by riding the the Honda until last year."

MotoGP: Alex Marquez:

Having started out well, and under the best auspices of a good championship, Alex Marquez has lost his polish over the coarse of the season, as well as numerous positions in the overall standings, mainly due to several slip ups. Currently twelfth, overall, the Gresini Racing rider wants only one thing for the end of the year: to fight again with the first group, even there are many unknowns.

"I'm not arrivinf in Buriram with the best feelings," he confessed. "Let's say that the second round in Misano complicated our lives and, even more so, the fall in Aragon. So, we'll try to return to a bike that's more like the one from the beginning of the year. We'll see if it'll work and if I'll be able to regain confidence after the various falls."

So far, his brother has been the only one able to win with the GP23. "You don't win eight titles in the MotoGP by chance," he smiled. "He was definitely helped by not using the GP22, which had so many positive aspects. It was easier to ride, and you felt at ease right away. Coming from the Honda that was inferior, he simply took a step forward. Marc, obviously, then makes the difference."

Lastly, he commented on the title fight. "Bagnaia claims that his championship is affected by our contact at the Motorland? It's normal that, when you're fighting for the title, you get upset by what you can't control one hundred percent, like racing accidents. When I was fighting for the world championship in Moto2, I remembered the collisions with others more than my mistakes. There are three rounds to go, he's twenty points behind and  in danger of seeing his third consecutive title slip away. Is he more nervous than Martin? I'm not surprised, because he's further back. Jorge can afford to make mistakes, he can't," his concluded.
