News: Massimo Rivola and Graziano Milone super couple on Moto Guzzi V7 at Misano

It's a short step from the pits to the racetrack. The Misano track, to be precise. So, for just one day, Aprilia's CEO, Massimo Rivola, doned his rider's helmet and overalls to take part in the grand finale of the Fast Endurance Trophy: the one-make series in which the Moto Guzzi (a Piaggio Group brand) V7s take center stage.

Seventh in his category and tenth overall at the end of qualifying, with a time of 2"00"344, after taking part in Saturday's night race, he'll be back in action at 3:20 p.m. Sunday for the decisive 60-minute race, alternating with his teammate, Graziano Milone, on the V7 prepared by Guareschi Corse-prepared. The President of VMoto, Graziano is a passionate motorcyclist who, two years ago, received a decidedly unusual compliment from Troy Bayliss at Mugello:  "Graziano, you're fast, but you risk too much!"

This isn't the first time as a rider for 52-year-old Massimo Rivola. In fact, he had ridden an Aprilia RS 660 two years ago in Imola during the CIV free practice and again in Misano with the RS 660 in 2023.
