Mauri then talked about the team. "We'll have a new crew chief and an engineer coming from the MotoGP," he added. "You'll see Ryan already this year racing for the first time in Jerez. He and his team, currently involved in the BSB, are working these days to participate as a wildcard in the last race of the season. Should he fail to do so, he'll race with Motocorsa, which will field a second bike."
The team owner is curious to see the new entry at work. "It's going to be a growth project with Ryan," he continued. "We're in no hurry. In fact, I've already been clear with our sponsors. We'll take it one step at a time, aware that, in the first races, we won't be bring home points, but it's certainly a bet that we want to win."
