Misano is preparing to host a second Grand Prix; after the San Marino and Riviera di Rimini Grand Prix, now it's the turn of the Emilia-Romagna GP. The double date was decided after the cancellation of Kazakhstan, and the circuit dedicated to Marco Simoncelli will once again be the scene of the battles of the MotoGP riders next week, from September 20 to 22.
On Sunday, however, there will be an important change in the program. All the races, in fact, will be brought forward by one hour. The MotoGP warm-up will be scheduled at 8:40 a.m., with Moto3 starting at 10 a.m., Moto2 at 11:15 a.m. and MotoGP at 1 p.m. The reason for this time shift is simple: on Sunday 22, Formula 1 will race in Singapore and it is scheduled to start at 2 p.m., MotoGP's usual time, a change which it wanted to avoid the overlapping of the two GPs.
The schedule will remain unchanged on the previous days, with the Sprint confirmed for 3 p.m. on Saturday, preceded by qualifying for the premier class at 10:50 a.m.
