SBK: Andrea Dosoli promoted to motorsport manager for Yamaha Europe

Yamaha announces that Andrea Dosoli, who has been involved in various capacities with the Japanese manufacturer since 1998, has been promoted to manager of all motorsport-related activities, so he will be in charge of SBK, MXGP, EWC, RallyRaid, Racing Heritage Club and to the program dedicated to young riders as far as off-road is concerned. Convincing the brand's top management to bet on him was the 2021 triple triumph in the production-derived series, with success among manufacturers, teams and riders thanks to Toprak Razgatloglu, but also the six consecutive titles in Supersport, the two in Supersport 300 and the two in endurance.

"We were keen to fill the role of Division Manager internally, to reflect within the company the same step-up philosophy that we apply to our rider development, and Andrea was not only the obvious candidate but also the best qualified for this position. , who will report directly to marketing and motorsport director Michael Van Zomeren, was an obvious candidate and the most qualified to fill the position - were the words of Paolo Pavesio future managing director of teh tuning-fork manufacturer. "I am handing over the YME Motorsport Division to a very safe pair of hands in Andrea, who will report directly to the Marketing and Motorsport Director, Michael van Zomeren. I know I will leave the department in good hands."

"Paolo has been instrumental in restructuring of our Motorsport operations, which ahs resulted in Yamaha securing several world titles, as well as the strengthening of our organization. Andrea's extensive experience and accomplishments make him the ideal candidate for this role, and I am confident that under his leadership our division will continue to reach new heights of success," commented Olivier Prevost, president and CEO of Yamaha Europe.
