SBK, Bautista: "Now we need to be patient, there is little to say, I hope to be there in Cremona."

Alvaro fractured a rib in this morning's Superpole Race crash and will have to undergo further checks. He will therefore miss the Aragon tests scheduled for this week.

SBK: Bautista:

One of the riders who retired at Magny-Cours was Alvaro Bautista. The Spaniard went down in Sunday morning's Superpole Race, ending his own race weekend early.

Initial examinations showed a rib fracture, but the Aruba rider will be evaluated further. What seems certain is that the world champion will not be at the Aragon tests scheduled for this week.

Alvaro made no declarations to the media today, thus relying on his own press office in reporting his condition: "There is not much to say - he commented - it was an unlucky weekend. Unfortunately after the start of the Superpole Race I could not avoid making contact with a rider who was much slower than me and in the crash I was injured. Patience is needed now. I hope to recover for Cremona."
