SBK: A bit of a scare for Toprak at Magny-Cours as he demolishes his BMW in FP2

15:53 Toprak is still at the medical center. A few moments ago his crew chief and Bongers entered to check on the Turk's health condition.

The FP2 session was one to forget for Toprak Razgatlioglu. After missing the opening minutes to allow his mechanics to work on the BMW M 1000 RR, the Turkish rider was the protagonist of a nasty crash on his first flying lap, which ended his Friday.

Thrown off his bike between turns 14-15, Toprak ended up in the gravel trap, smashing his back into a small wall. It was a nasty impact that left him momentarily on the ground but did not appear to have had major consequences for the Turk, who was helped to his feet by marshals and walked to the ambulance.

Razgatlioglu is now at the circuit's medical center for a check-up. Having breathed a sigh of relief for an accident that could have had very serious conditions, all that remains to do now is to wait for a communication regarding his condition.
