MotoGP, Quartararo arms 'shield' while riding Alien Yamaha

Look carefully at this photo. While Fabio was arming some mechanism (which would, by the way, be prohibited), it seems like he activated a huge rear spoiler capable of eliminating the Yamaha's grip problem. And it's all true. The photo isn't a fake and it's not photoshopped, but it's just an unusual inconvenience that happened to the former world champion while testing the 'lab' M1 ... and, for a moment, a new aerodynamic ... alien seemed to appear.

What really happened is that the new appendage came off during the lap, momentarily positioning itself in that strange position that makes it look like a huge rear wing. We don't know the reason for the experiment and whether the appendage was later recuperated.
