MotoGP, Morbidelli: "Marquez? It was an unfortunate episode."

"Marc came in with more speed and moved to the left to avoid hitting Miller. Unfortunately, that holeshot is a problem that needs to be addressed."

MotoGP: Morbidelli:

Marc Marquez's mistake at the start affected Franco Morbidelli's race to such an extent that he was forced to make a comeback. From 18th, the Pramac rider finished 8th, managing to climb up in the rankings. The glass is half full for him even if he regrets what happened at the start.

"Unfortunately, it was an unlucky episode," he began. "Marc didn't activate the holeshot and reached turn one with a different speed than the others. He went to the left to avoid Miller, but we both ended up going out. Honestly, I don't know what can be done, because that's the only device. It's certainly something we have to deal with so that it doesn't happen again."

Franco then talked about the comeback.
"I was eighteenth, and it was difficult to overtake on this track. The tire pressure tended to increase as the performance decreased. Nevertheless, it was a positive race."

How difficult was it to overtake here in Austria?
"It's becoming more and more difficult to overtake in the MotoGP because there are few differences between the bikes in terms of speed, You brake hard, and the bikes have different devices. But I did ten overtakes today, gaining about ten positions. In France, I had gotten another eleven positions."

We can say that you left behind a difficult moment ...
"In some races, it was useful being behind, struggling, but now I'm satisfied with my current level."
