SBK, GoEleven: if Iannone decides not to stay, there's a Plan B for 2025

Andrea staying is the top priority for the Piedmont-based team, but should The Maniac say goodbye, a surprise name for next year's Panigale V4 pops up

SBK: GoEleven: if Iannone decides not to stay, there's a Plan B for 2025

Andrea Iannone is the hot name in this August Superbike market. Yamaha is courting him to wear the blue colors next year, and he is considering what is the best solution in view of 2025.

So these are crucial weeks for the future of The Maniac, who on the one hand has an R1 on the table with the GRT team and on the other a stay with Go Eleven, i.e., the team that relaunched him after a four-year stop.

For the Piedmont-based team, as Denis Sacchetti told us in Friday night's TGPOne, the priority is undoubtedly to continue with Andrea next season as well. Therefore, the squad run by Gianni Ramello hopes to continue together on the road taken last season, all the while aiming to raise its expectations

Should Andrea decide to leave, GoEleven will have to look around for a replacement. In that case the goal would be to focus on a young rider to help grow in World Superbike, in fact retracing the philosophy of the team as was done for example in the past with Michael Rinaldi.

Precisely for this reason, one profile that is attracting a lot of attention is that of Adrian Huertas, currently involved in Supersport with the Ducati V2. Aruba's young talent, who is impressing in the middle category with the Rossa, would like to arrive in Superbike next year and GoEleven could be an excellent opportunity to start a path in the top class.

Adrian is 20 years old, he is in his third year in SSP, and should he win the title, a move to SBK would be for him the right crowning achievement of what he has done in recent years. Everything, however, will depend on what Andrea Iannone's decision will be, that is, whether or not to stay with the Panigale V4. Then action will be taken accordingly.
