SBK, Bautista dumps his Ducati into the gravel at over 200 km/h in FP2 at Portimao

A disappointing FP2 finale for Alvaro Bautista. In the final minutes of the session, the Spaniard was the victim of a crash between Turn 10 and Turn 11, in a stretch where speeds exceed 200 km/h. The Spaniard in fact lost control of his Ducati at high speed, throwing it into the gravel.

Fortunately for him nothing serious, only an abrasion to his arm as a result of the crash. The lap of the world champion thus came to an early end, with Alvaro setting the second quickest time behind a super Petrucci.
