MotoGP: Aprilia unveils a new fairing. Bonora:

Aprilia, as anticipated, showed up at Silverstone with the second evolution of its fairing.

"The riders complained about the handling," explained Paolo Bonora, " they wanted more ease in changes of direction, while still maintaining the same ability of the bike to limit wheelies, so as not to lose in acceleration. Aleix Espargarò has both fairings. From the simulations, in the calculations, we saw the advantages of this configuration. The differences? The sidepods are bigger, and the fairing is bigger and longer. The simulations were done in the wind tunnel and in all conditions, so also in leaning. Obviously with the dynamic characteristics of the suspension at that particular juncture."
