Jack Miller is one of the key names in the MotoGP market. At the moment a big question mark hovers over his 2025 and he himself admits this without mincing his words at the media meeting at Silverstone on Thursday.
Clear and transparent words those uttered by the Australian regarding his future. In recent weeks there has been talk of a possibility in Pramac while in recent days Autosport has reported an offer from Ducati for SBK. But nothing is true as he himself declared.
"It's all rumours because frankly at the moment I have got nothing, not one single contract. I can honestly say my phone ain't ringing. As a result I can only do my best on the track. I think the only way to make the phone ring is to try to be competitive on the track and get good results."
Miller then denies all the rumors including SBK.
"I would not rule out riding a Superbike next year. The World Championship is of the highest level and it's interesting to run three races in one weekend. Personally, I am of the opinion that I have not finished my work in MotoGP yet."
Speaking of MotoGP, the latest call is Pramac.
"This may be a possibility, but at the moment I have nothing. I know what I have shown in my career and people know what kind of rider I am. Sometimes you say things to piss people off, butit is what it is and is why I've lived like that my whole career. I'm the character I am. I am trying to do what I can do on tract, because at the end of the day that's what talks the most."
Finally, a consideration of the Silverstone weekend.
"I had a good vacation and now I'm ready to go again. Even if the situation is a bit frustrating it is not over, because what matters is the result and we have to put into practice the work done with the team in the last few races. The good and bad thing at the same time is that our sport is very complex. Here we are not playing soccer, where maybe a goal solves the problem."
