MotoGP, Bagnaia: "The Assen GP was perfect and I can also do well at Sachsenring"

The Assen Grand Prix was for Bagnaia the high point of a journey that began at Barcelona. Pecco has been undefeated since Sunday's Catalan GP race and now he arrives at the Sachsenring with the right impetus. It will be an important appointment for the world champion, and not only because he will be celebrating 200 Grands Prix in MotoGP.

On the German track, in fact, he will have the chance to make up more points in the standings on Martin, who is just 10 ahead of him. In addition, he will try to beat Marc Marquez on his favorite circuit.

"This weekend will be the last before the summer break and I hope to close this first part of the season in the best possible way - is Bagnaia's goal -We are coming off three very positive weekends, where we only missed the win in the Barcelona Sprint, and in Holland everything was perfect. Last year in Germany, Martín was really strong, but we also managed to be more competitive on Sunday. Now we have to stay focused. We have all the potential to continue to do well, and if we work as we have done so far, I'm sure we will be able to do well this weekend too."

Enea Bastianini, for his part, has 3rd place in the championship in his sights, with only 6 points separating him from Marquez. The Rimini native is fresh off podiums at Mugello and Assen and must be able to improve his qualifying form to aim higher.
