SBK: Ducati and Aruba head toward renewal for two more years

Among the guests present at Misano there was also Mauro Grassilli. In fact, the Ducati Corse sporting director was present at the Adriatic Riviera circuit to closely follow the World SBK round and more. Among the topics he was there to discuss was also the issue regarding the renewal of the agreement with Aruba.

According to what he told Sky, the Ducati manager confirmed that a deal was on its way to being confirmed: "I'm here in Misano to follow the Superbike race and at the same time talk with Stefano Cecconi - he said - I can tell you that this morning we have renewed for the next two years with Aruba and we are very happy, because this adventure has been going on for a long time."

Now that the agreement is reached, there is another puzzle to be solved, which is the one regarding Bautista's future: "Obviously we have started talking to Alvaro because we would like to keep him for next year as well. That is our desire and we will see how the situation will evolve."

Following his words were those of Stefano Cecconi: "Obviously we are pleased to have reached an understanding with Ducati, " said the number one of Aruba, "we are still missing the formalities, but as I said I am particularly excited to continue together this path undertaken several years ago."
