MotoGP: Bagnaia on the grid in Imola:

Imola hosted the Formula 1 last weekend, and Pecco Bagnaia was there too, accompanied by his future wife, Domizia. They were guests in the Ferrari garage and, shortly before the start, the Ducati rider was able to get on the grid and experience those exciting moments right before the race.

Interviewed by Sky, the rider from Piedmont was impressed by the excitement: “It's great being here,” he exclaimed. “Being on the grid but not on a bike has a different effect.  The fondness of our fans is incredible.

Besides the excitement, Pecco also stated: “It would be fantastic if we also could race here.”  He then added:  “It’s a fantastic circuit. There are two or three tight points in the second sector. It's all great.” The last time the MotoGP raced in Imola was 1999, when Criville won the 500, while Capirossi and Melandri won in the 250 and 125, respectively.
