MotoGP: Domenicali: Ducati, like Coca-Cola, has a recipe that nobody knows completely

During the season, Dall'Igna was contacted by Honda at one point but chose to stay put. He confessed this himself, expressing his contentment with Ducati. Recently, Alberto Puig added that it's not just the creator of the Desmosedici who is on Honda's radar but also other engineers.

In response to a question from La Repubblica, Ducati's CEO, Claudio Domenicali, admitted that he had considered the issue.

"He's a star in his field. Our values are strongly aligned, and I hope he remains with us indefinitely. However, I don't rule out the possibility that Honda might make him a substantial offer someday."

Nevertheless, Borgo Panigale's top executive added, "But even Gigi doesn't possess all the secrets of Ducati's magic formula. The winning formula of Ducati is as guarded as Coca-Cola's: it's a secret. Within the company, everyone knows only a portion of the recipe, but no one is privy to all the ingredients."
