The Superbike has left Most. Now it’s time for the riders to dedicate themselves to a well-deserved summer vacation. But, for some riders, there’s still a long way to go, and Alvaro Bautista is one of them. Instead of returning to Spain, he took a direct flight from Prague to Bologna this afternoon.
According to what we’ve heard, the Spanish rider will be in Misano on Wednesday, where Michele Pirro has planned a test with the MotoGP. So, there’s also a chance that Alvaro will be getting onto the Riviera track with the GP23, joining the test rider from Puglia.
And to think that Bautista had said on Sunday that he would think about the second test during the summer. Instead, he surprised everyone and headed straight to Misano to take advantage of the day the Ducati test team had already planned with Pirro. This will be the second time for him after Donington.
At this point, there’s only one thing left for Alvaro to decide: whether or not to race in Sepang!
