Yesterday Alvaro Bautista unwrapped his gift, even if he won't be able to use it until today. We are of course talking about the Ducati GP23 MotoGP, which the SBK world champion will ride today and tomorrow on the Misano circuit. A prize test for the title conquered that the Spaniard - you can rest assured - will enjoy to the fullest.
In the past, Alvaro had raced with the Ducati in the MotoGP in 2018 and 2019, but a few years are an eternity in the world of motorcycle racing, where technology travels at the same speed as the riders. The bike he will ride is certainly different from the one he remembers, not only in terms of form but also in content.
Gigi Dall'Igna, General Manager of Ducati Corse, underlined how "Bautista's only goal is to have fun", but there is a lot of curiosity in knowing how he will find riding the Desmosedici.
