SBK, Toprak doesn’t give up: “Bautista is fast, but I still believe in the title”

Toprak Razgatlioglu arrives in Misano after signing a contract with BMW. Now that his future is set, the rider has a clear head and can’t wait for the dances to begin on the Riviera. The Yamaha rider was really competitive during the tests. Now he has to prove himself.

“We did an excellent job in the tests, especially in the race simulation, in fact I was really fast,” he said. “I know that Bautista will be very competitive in Misano. My goal is to win in the long race and not just in the short one. I like the Misano track, and the race pace this year is much better for me, but we’ll see, since the race is always different from the tests.”

His last statement was about the world championship challenge: “I’ll try to do my best. I’m still fighting for the championship this year, and it seems that becoming champion is still possible. We’ll see. I’ll try my best in Misano, and I aim to win all the races.”
