Lorenzo Dalla Porta and the Pertamina Mandalika SAG team have mutually decided to go their separate ways. The team issued a brief statement in which it explained that a "mutual decision was taken to go their separate ways as of today".
The team also wanted to “express its sincere thanks to Dalla Porta for his commitment and dedication since the beginning of the season to date. This has been a carefully considered and difficult decision, given Lorenzo's positive nature. We are confident that this determination will benefit both parties and wish him every success in his future racing career.”
Dalla Porta had started racing this season for the SAG team, but unfortunately the start of the year has not been easy, as the Italian has not even scored one point in the first 5 races.
