Forty-eight laps on Tuesday, sixty on Wednesday: with a total of 108 laps completed, Danilo Petrucci ended his the two days of testing at Mugello.

The objective of the Barni team rider was to overcome the difficulties that emerged in the rounds at Assen and Barcelona, preparing himself the best possible way in view of the Misano round, scheduled for next week.

At the end of his tests, Petrux’s glass was half full, considering the many innovations he tried out, including a new swingarm: “We tried some new components on the bike, including a new swingarm and various options in terms of set-up,” he said. “These things have made it possible to improve my confidence with the Panigale V4. We did several kilometers, managing to become more familiar with the tires, so I’m satisfied and ready for Misano.”
