MotoGP: Oliveira’s not racing at Le Mans, replaced by Savadori on Aprilia RNF

As we had anticipated, Miguel Oliveira won’t be able to race in the French Grand Prix at Le Mans and will be replaced by Aprilia test rider Lorenzo Savadori. After the accident during the Jerez race, the RNF team rider dislocated his left shoulder, which had been put back in place by the doctors. Further tests revealed that the injuries were more serious than expected: a fracture of the humerus and an anterior ligament tear.

Doctors have decided not to resort to surgery, but Miguel won’t be able to participate in the French GP. Savadori, who had already replaced him in the Jerez tests, where he also got to know the team, will be on his RS-GP at Le Mans.
