Some of the NBA's most famous stars are avid motorcycle enthusiasts. These stars headline NBA lines during the season and enjoy riding their favorite bikes during the offseason. They have expressed their interest in motorcycles in various interviews and television appearances.

The names on this list may seem surprising. But then again, these stars' social media posts and photo opportunities have established their passion for two-wheeled vehicles. 

NBA Athletes and Their Bikes

The following NBA stars are known as passionate bikers, as seen on social media and other public venues.

LeBron James

LeBron James has been known to ride motorcycles and has been spotted riding a Ducati motorcycle in the past. In fact, in 2009, he was involved in a minor accident while riding a motorcycle in his hometown of Akron, Ohio. The accident occurred when a car pulled out in front of him, but fortunately, LeBron was not seriously injured.

Despite the accident, LeBron has continued expressing interest in motorcycles and shared photos and videos of himself riding on social media. However, as a professional athlete, he is also aware of the risks involved in riding and takes precautions to ensure his safety.

Shaquille O'Neal

Shaquille O'Neal, also known as "Shaq," is a well-known NBA player who has expressed an interest in motorcycles and has been seen riding them on occasion. In fact, Shaq has a large collection of motorcycles and has even appeared on the TV show "Shaquille O'Neal: Off the Clock," which featured him riding various motorcycles.

Shaq's motorcycle collection includes a number of high-performance bikes from brands such as Harley-Davidson and Ducati. He has even customized some of his bikes with unique designs, such as a Superman-themed Harley-Davidson.

While Shaq enjoys riding motorcycles, he also understands the risks involved and takes safety seriously. In interviews, he stresses the importance of wearing proper safety gear and taking the necessary precautions to avoid accidents while riding.

Kobe Bryant

Kobe Bryant, the late NBA superstar, was also a motorcycle enthusiast and had a collection of motorcycles. He was known to ride motorcycles and had been spotted riding them in the past.

In one video, he is seen doing a wheelie on a motorcycle. While he has posted his passion for motorcycles on social media, he hasn't been spotted as frequently riding in traffic.

Chris Paul

Chris Paul, a veteran NBA player, has occasionally been known to ride motorcycles. In a 2014 interview with GQ magazine, he mentioned purchasing a new Ducati motorcycle. While Chris Paul has expressed an interest in motorcycles, he is also aware of the risks involved and takes safety seriously.

In an interview with Men's Health magazine, he stressed the importance of wearing proper safety gear while riding, such as helmets and protective clothing.

The NBA and Harley Davidson Partnership

In 2017, Harley-Davidson announced a sponsorship deal with the Milwaukee Bucks, an NBA team based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As part of the sponsorship deal, Harley-Davidson's iconic logo appears on the Bucks' jerseys and the team's court at the Fiserv Forum, where the team plays its home games.

The partnership also includes a "Bucks Bike Night" event series, which features Harley-Davidson motorcycle displays and other activities for fans before selecting home games.

The sponsorship deal between Harley-Davidson and the Bucks was seen as a way for both companies to leverage their strong ties to Milwaukee, where Harley-Davidson is headquartered, and the Bucks have been playing since 1968. The partnership also highlights Harley-Davidson's ongoing efforts to reach new audiences and expand its brand beyond traditional motorcycle enthusiasts.
