The Formula 1 Grand Prix in Melbourne ended in chaos. Among red flags, restarts, accidents, and penalties, it ended with a sort of fake parade under the finish line. In many years of motorsports, we’ve seen it all, but the Formula 1 today showed its worst side, all condensed into a single event. And Casey Stoner – who certainly isn’t particularly known for being politically correct – wasn’t at all happy with what occurred. The Australian champion expressed his feelings on his social media channels with a vitriolic critique aimed at the world of the Formula 1.

This is what Casey wrote.

FIA, you have embarrassed yourselves today in the Formula 1. What an unnecessary mess. Please remember everyone, this is sport first and entertainment second, not the other way around.”
