MotoGP: Pecco Bagnaia: “In Argentina, I want another perfect weekend”

Portimão could have been a perfect weekend for Ducati if Bastianini’s injury hadnt spoiled it all. In the accident he was involved in during the Sprint Race, Enea fracture his right shoulder blade and won’t be in Argentina.

After a fantastic GP in Portugal, Pecco Bagnaia will, instead, be defending the colors of the official team at Termas de Rio Hondo. After the first round, the world champion has a full score in the standings and has every intention of continuing along the same line.

Everything was perfect in the GP last week, and I hope that the same will happen here in Argentina.” Pecco doesn’t hide his goals.

In Termas, riders will have to face the new format without being able to rely on tests, like in Portugal.

Compared to Portimão, where we had done the tests a few weeks before the race, here we’ll have to start our work from scratch, so it’ll be important to make good use of each session,” Bagnaia stressed. “In any case, I’m optimistic. My feeling with the bike at the moment is incredible, so I’m confident that I can do well in any condition. I’ll be the only one representing my team this weekend. I wish Enea a speedy recovery and hope he can return to the track with us in Austin.”
