The CryptoDATA RNF team discovered only yesterday that they have to do without Miguel Oliveira for the upcoming Argentine Grand Prix. The Portuguese rider, wiped out by Marquez in Sunday’s race in Portimão, reported injuries that will not allow him to get back onto his Aprilia this weekend.
Razlan Razali’s team has released an official statement that, on the one hand, stigmatizes the Honda driver’s conduct on the track and, on the other, asks the FIM Stewards to be more severe when applying penalties.

The CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP team, following the recent reckless and irresponsible racing incident caused by Marc Marquez against Miguel Olivera, is pushing for harsher and more severe penalties from the FIM Stewards.
MotoGP races, whether they be sprint or main races, are high-speed and high intensity, where every rider wants to win at all costs. However, such aggressive behavior can often lead to disastrous consequences, not only for the riders themselves, but also for their fellow competitors.
The recent incident between Marc Marquez and Miguel Olivera should serve as a wake-up call for MotoGP, Moto2, and Moto3 riders. It is therefore, imperative that they be reminded of the severity of the punishment, for any kind of reckless and irresponsible conduct.
The CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP team condemns this behavior and strongly advocates for stricter penalties to deter future offenders, including the team’s own riders. We urge the FIM Stewards to take quick and decisive action against such reckless riding, setting example for younger and upcoming riders in the Moto3 and Moto2.
We believe that safety is the top priority in any sport, and the MotoGP must take the necessary actions to ensure the safety of all its riders. We look forward to supporting the FIM Stewards in their ongoing efforts to develop a safer and more responsible racing environment.
